At ViangPhing Resort, we are not only a resort. We also work as closely as possible with the communities including local and global. For this activity, paint my rock. We created this activity with volunteers to run a fun and exciting activity to inspire local children to practice their English while having fun showcasing their painting skill. We realized that English is very important. It could help to increase their opportunity in our competitive world.
Art helps to improve the ability of concentration which is very crucial in life for the great of cognitive thinking, memorizing, learning, moods and overall psychological well-being.
Our volunteers shared with us how they organized the activity. The idea of this activity come from our friend Tom, he said about this idea that “The purpose of the snake is to kept all memorial from children’s art piece by piece until it long enough to circle around The Lobby and when the children come back here they would saw their arts and most of the children are local people, in the future when they grew up and come back here again, they wouldn’t forget the art of them and, so, we could lived in their heart forever.”
